AYSO Region 644 Opens
Registration for Spring Soccer Season
Registration for the AYSO Region 644 spring 2009 soccer season will be underway Saturday November 15, 2008. All registrations must be made online. To register please Click Here. All games and practices will be held at the Weston Regional Park. The season will run from mid February through May with a ten game season and two practices a week for divisions U7 on up and one practice per week for the U5 and U6 divisions. All players will receive a a full uniform, a trophy as well as a 5x7 and team picture at no additional cost. In addition we will have the commissioner's cup playoff tournament at the end of the season for the U7 divisions on up. The cost of the program is $145. Registration will run from November 15, 2008 through January 15, 2009 (or until capacity is reached). Last season registration was closed for most divisions by mid-December.

AYSO Region 644 - "The Costume Closet" Partner To Collect Used Halloween Costumes For Underprivileged Children
Our biggest source of pride in AYSO is how our youngsters seek out and develop a sense of community. Lindsey Precht, a U19 player, has developed a community service project called “The Costume Closet” for which AYSO 644 will partner with her for the second year. The mission of “The Costume Closet” is to distribute new and gently used Halloween costumes to underprivileged children. We are requesting that you donate your gently used or never used Halloween costumes to the AYSO building AFTER Halloween from November 1 – 16, 2008 where a collection bin will be located. The costumes will be distributed annually to kids in the care of local service and social organizations. If you have any questions, please contact Lindsey Precht at 305-827-9282. Thank you for supporting this service partnership by donating your unwanted or outgrown Halloween costumes so they can make another child as happy as they have your own.

AYSO 2nd Annual Banner Day
Announced For Saturday November 15, 2008
We are announcing our second annual AYSO Banner Day for Saturday November 15, 2008 at the Weston Regional Park. All teams are requested to make a team banner. The banner should be an original creation based around your team. There are no limits as to size or shape. The banners judged to be the most artistically creative in content will win the teams a $100 gift certificate for an end of year team party. Banners will be judged based upon age groups. So go ahead and begin making your team banners and show you team pride. Banners should be displayed at your Saturday November 15th games.
