I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for registering for our 21st fall soccer season at AYSO Region 644. I am proud to now be a part of twelve of these seasons, ten of which as regional commissioner. In my opinion, this is the best youth sports organizations around, one based on five basic philosophies that lie at the core of what youth sports are all about. Everyone Plays, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Balanced Teams and Good Sportsmanship is what we are all about. We strive for these principles and we hope that you will as well.

This season we have REDUCED our registration fees for the recreational program to $135. It was most important to us, given the tough economic times, to help, even in the smallest way, alleviate the financial strain a lot of families are going through. For those interested in sponsoring their child's team, we will once again be offering our team sponsorship program where for $200 you may have your company's logo on the shirtsleeves of your child's team. If you are interested please check the appropriate box during the online registration process.

Registration Requirements: All new players will have to present a copy of their birth certificate to their coach on the first Practice.

Ages:Players must be 4-18 years old as of September 15, 2009.

Evaluations: All players must be evaluated. Evaluation dates will be emailed to you.

Games: Played every Saturday at the Weston Regional Park Beginning in September, 2009. Because AYSO is a balanced league, we do not take team/friend request. Complete uniform will be supplied.

Practices: Practices start in September. Twice weekly maximum. All practices will be at the Weston Regional Park with days and times determined by the coaches. These practices can be any day of the week. We cannot guarantee practice days and times. With over 2,500 children playing in the program, trying to coordinate everyone's schedule in addition to trying to balance teams is impossible. If you have multiple children playing in our program we will try to accommodate to place them on the same practice nights but that may not be possible based on the volunteer coaches schedule. Remember, if you volunteer to head coach YOU get to pick your practice nights and times. We will only pair up the coach and assistant coaches. NO other requests will be honored. We will NOT switch players to different teams based upon practice schedules. Players ages 4 or 5 practice only once a week. Please note that we will not be able to place children on the same team's for "car pool" reasons. Only siblings residing in the same household and of the same age group and gender will be guaranteed to be on the same team. One head coach and one assistant coach will also have their children paired together.

Equipment: You will need to supply shin guards, cleats, a soccer ball and water bottle. Ball size 3 for U8 division and lower, size 4 for U10 and U12, size 5 for U-19, U-16 and U 14.

Refunds: You will need to supply shin guards, cleats, a soccer ball and water bottle. Ball size 3 for U8 division and lower, size 4 for U10 and U12, size 5 for U-19, U-16 and U 14. Refunds: If your child cannot participate in our program after you have registered but prior to May 31, 2009 you may request a refund (as outlined below) minus a $50 processing fee. After May 31, 2009 there will be absolutely NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON. If registering after May 31, 2009 there will be no refunds as well.
